The Journey Begins.
What are the odds that out of all the generic blog titles to place in a free template, WordPress chose one that relates perfectly to what I want to write about? Probably pretty high, because I’m sure there are thousands of other unemployed recent graduates that are desperately trying to add some kind of meaning to their miserable, lonely lives by oversharing with strangers on the internet.
I can just hear the older generations collectively sighing and telling me I should be looking for meaning in a significant other or a “real career,” and not from talking about my feelings on the interweb. Don’t get me wrong, it would be super chill if a boy actually wanted to date me, and I would love to have a 9-5 desk job someday, but for right now I am 100% content being a single server. I can spend all of my time thinking only of myself, and if I want to request off of work for a week to go to Disney World I have the freedom to do so. If you ask me, that’s pretty much the ideal situation to be in at 22 years old.
So I guess, in a nutshell, that’s what this blog is going to be about. My journey as a single 22 year old, living life one 9-day work schedule at a time. Stay tuned, things might just get interesting for once.
